Matt Zavadsky is an EMS and Mobile Healthcare consultant supporting local communities, EMS agencies, fire departments, hospitals, and healthcare organizations in evaluating and enhancing their EMS and mobile healthcare systems to ensure long-term success and sustainability.
With over 40 years of experience in both private and governmental sectors, Matt is nationally recognized as a thought leader in advancing mobile healthcare.
As the Chief Transformation Officer at MedStar Mobile Healthcare, he led efforts in strategic initiatives, healthcare system integration, agency relations, and media engagement. Through PWW|AG’s association management agreement, Matt also serves as the Executive Director and Education committee Chair for the Academy of International Mobile Healthcare integration (AIMHI).
He has held numerous leadership roles at the local, state, and national levels, including past president of the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT), and currently serves on its Economics Committee. Matt is an active member of the NFPA’s national committee on EMS and MIH standards and has contributed to national healthcare policy development through his involvement with the Institute of Medicine and the NHTSA’s “Model EMS System of the Future” initiative. Matt also has experience in Wisconsin; prior to joining MedStar, he was the director for Gunderson/Tri-State Ambulance in La Crosse.
